Woezɔ, I’m Komlanvi! I grew up in a small village in Togo, where I learned early on the value of independence, curiosity, and taking responsibility for the life you want to build. From a young age, I knew I wanted to create something meaningful, not just for myself, but for the people around me.

My entrepreneurial spirit showed up early through many small projects, but it was my love for salsa dance that shaped me the most. I became a professional Latin dance teacher and choreographer, a path rooted in movement, connection, and well-being. Dance taught me how closely physical health, joy, and daily habits are connected.

As life evolved, so did my focus. When my partner began facing health challenges, I returned to the natural ingredients and food traditions I grew up with. Using functional mushrooms was a turning point. They felt familiar, practical, and full of potential, but I knew they needed to fit into real life in a way people would enjoy.

Just like dance, I wanted to share something that feels good, brings people together, and becomes part of a daily rhythm. That desire is what led to Dodjivi, creating functional products that support everyday wellness and taste good enough to come back to again and again.

Claudine Martel

Special Consultant and Head of Customer Happiness

Welcome! I’m Claudine, often called Dodjivi’s dancing queen (aka The First Lady!). I’m a passionate salsa dancer who believes happiness is meant to be shared. That belief led me to start a Latin dance school, where movement, music, and connection come together to help people feel more confident and joyful.

Before joining Dodjivi, I worked as a Business Analyst and Project Coordinator in the public sector. Today, I bring that experience, along with a people-first mindset, into building a brand that genuinely cares about how customers feel at every step of their journey.

My own experiences with functional mushrooms played a meaningful role in my path to Dodjivi. They became part of my daily routine in a way that felt natural and enjoyable, which made joining the brand feel like a natural extension of my values. At Dodjivi, my focus is simple: making sure people feel heard, welcomed, and happy to be part of the community.

Nicolas Chevallier

Photographer and Videographer

Bonjour, I’m Nicolas. I’m Dodjivi’s photographer and videographer, originally from Paris and now based in Ottawa. Moving to a new country sparked my love for discovering new creative paths and telling stories through visuals.

I started my career in the music industry before finding my place in photography and video, where movement, mood, and detail come together. As a coffee lover who’s sensitive to its harsher side, I was drawn to Dodjivi for a coffee experience that felt easier to enjoy every day. Today, I help capture the people, products, and moments that shape the Dodjivi story.

Moral Support Executive

Bonjour, I’m Booky, Dodjivi’s Moral Support Executive. I may be a Yorkie, but my role is anything but small!

My responsibilities include monitoring all door activity, announcing deliveries with enthusiasm, and making sure no one works too long without a smile. When days get busy, I’m always ready with cuddles, quiet company, or a well-timed interruption that reminds everyone to pause and breathe.

I take pride in boosting morale, spreading joy, and keeping the team grounded, one wag at a time!
